Featured Ingredient: Gigawhite

In a 12 week study, the skin lightening complex Gigawhite at 5% was shown to decrease the intensity and color of age spots, acne marks and freckles as well as brighten the overall skin tone.

Gigawhite is a skin lightener, a skin brightener (check out the Difference Between Lightening & Brightening for more clarification on that) as well as an age spot or melasma reducer. It is plant based, all natural and has an ultra gentle mechanism of melanocyte decreasing action. I have used gigawhite before to fade very dark spots on my chest area, on my cheek and it has worked greatly.

It has a significant skin whitening and free radical scavenging ability, and works very well at suppressing and eliminating concentrated melanin when used for a duration of 12 weeks. It's composition is a host of effective antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, skin lightening extracts which penetrate suprisingly very well in the skin without the prescence of epidermal exfoliants:

Malva Sylvestris Extract Mentha Piperita Leaf Extract Primula Veris Extract Alchemilla Vulgaris Extract Veronica Officinalis Extract Melissa Officinalis Leaf Extract Achillea Millefolium Extract.

Those extracts make up Gigawhite.

The product that I used that had 5% gigawhite was the Neostrata Spot Lightener. It is mainly targeted for age spots and melasma patches.
