Skinceuticals Pigment Regulator

This is the newest product by Skinceuticals, and it looks really promising. It is clinically proven to treat various forms of hyperpigmentation. It is designed to lighten the overall skin tone and erase spots, acne scars and other forms of discoloration.

It has a formulation that combines 2% Kojic Acid and 2% Embilica (otherwise known as indian gooseberry), in combination with a 10% exfoliating blend to provide 3 ways to synergistically lighten skin: inhibits tyrosinase (enzyme that is responsible for producing melanin), prevents excess melanin, and effectively breaks up existing melanin to result in a smooth, even toned look.

The product runs for a steep price of about $85.00 (that is, if you order off the skinceuticals website. I am sure ebay has it for a much more reasonable price, and for that matter, has samples you can try!) and comes in a 30 mL tube.

I really like Skinceuticals products. I think they are fantastic and work really well. For years I used to use Skinceuticals AOX as my go-to Vitamin C product. I used to buy samples off ebay (they are a lot of sellers out there that sell skinceuticals samples) and they would last me for months. This particular product does look good. I like the combination of concentrated lighteners like Kojic Acid and Embilica and 10% glycolic acid.

Judging from the little reviews I've read online thus far, I can see that this product delivers. It would definitley be a good alternative to individuals who cannot tolerate retinoids, or are in need of some exfoliating product. I will definitley keep a close eye on this product and might purchase it, if I hear more rave from other buyers.

=)

If you are interested in getting this one, here are some links I found to where you can purchase it.

This product definately works! I used to use the Obagi Clear, but given the recent news about hydroquinone I decided that I needed to switch to a more natural skin lightener and try the pigment regulator, and couldnt be happeir. It is less harsh than the obagi product and I see almost the same results. I usually buy from here: http://www.entirelyskin.com/skinceuticals-pigment-regulator.html

Awesome! I'm glad it's working for you. It's cool that you mention this since Skinceuticals Pigment Regulator has kojic acid, and I just did a whole thing on kojic acid today. =D
