Product Recommendation – Osmosis Skin Care’s EnLighten

If you have dry, normal or non-acne prone skin, there is a very promising skin lightening serum out there for you. It’s the Osmosis’ Enlighten Serum.

It contains 9 different skin lightening agents which are liposome coated. According to Osmosis Skin Care, a nano-sized liposome coating for each active ingredient enhances penetration as well as prevents premature oxidation, which is a major issue with a lot of botanical skin lighteners and topical antioxidants.

The active ingredients in this product are phenomenal. Unfortunately the product is not oil-free, and essential oils like citrus and clove can be problematic for acne prone or sensitive skin types. People who aren’t acne prone or have dry skin will probably greatly benefit from this skin lightener. The ingredients are quite extensive:

• Phosphatidylcholine
• Purified Water
• Paper Mulberry Bark
• Rumex Extract
• 1,3 Beta Glucan
• Lemon Peel Extract
• Wild Cherry Bark
• Alpha Arbutin
• GABA
• Watercress Extract
• Bearberry Extract
• L-sodium lactate
• MSM
• Xantham Gum
• Licorice Extract
• Tetrahydrocurcuminoids
• Aspirin
• Tangerine Essential Oil
• Lemon Essential Oil
• Clove Essential Oil
• Retinaldehyde (.075%)

It is a total splurge. The product has a very steep price tag, but if you can afford it I think this can be very effective. It comes in two sizes, 20 ml and 57 ml. The price varies from the different online vendors that sell it. Here is a site from esthetician where you can purchase for $50.00:

Ebay is also a great place to look.

On the official Osmosis Skin Care website, there is an informational video that goes along with the Enlighten Serum. It’s definitely worth a watch:

Osmosis luks to be a great product. Like to try it in future. Plz let us know if u get any positive feedback. Just wondering, how essential oil can make it oily as its used in very low quantity. Wel price is very steep so like to try only after positive review.

Hi Nitesh,

This does look like a great product. I'm not exactly sure if what I listed is the *exact* ingredient list so if the essential oils are at the bottom, then there is a less chance of it being comedogenic. But then again, very sensiive skin types usually stay away from essential oils altogether to avoid any flare ups.

Starting a section on lightening natural color sounds cool! I'll start a seperate section for that up to. Thanks for the suggesting that =D

This is an amazing product and I have seen test results with a visia that show a 50% improvment in 1 month from pigmentation spots! I think it is a great price as it has Retinaldehyde which is the best from of vit A ( non-inflamatory) which acts as an anti aging solution as well as 1-3 Beta Glucan which eats up scar tissue. So this serum does a lot more than just improve pigmentation. In my opinin it is a bargin price and the best pigmentation serum on the market. If you are really serious check out the Osmosis Catalyst and Stemfactor to use with this. :))

Wow, that's awesome! I'll give it a try since I'm almost out of my Olay Sensitive Skin right now and I'm taking a break from Sofina. Sounds excellent. Thanks for letting me know! <3
