Product Recommendation - UNT Luminess Whitening Essence

Earlier this year when I was doing the Featured Ingredients series, I created a post about the ingredient ChromaBright. This fascinating skin brightening ingredient inhibits melanin production as well as contains photo protective properties.

The UNT Luminess contains ChromaBright. It is a great botanical skin lightener that should work to lighten hyperpigmentation, correct uneven skin tone through exfoliation and fading of dark spots, brighten the skin and strengthen sunscreen protection.

It has a total of 4 impressive active ingredients:

Orchis Mascula Extract – a very popular plant extract used in Japanese and Chinese skin whiteners. It lightens skin through enzyme inhibition and has a few studies proving it to be an excellent lightener for age spots.

Lactobionic Acid – a unique polyhydroxy bionic acid which stimulates cell renewal and increases the efficacy of the other extracts

ChromaBright – lightens skin by enzyme inhibition, as well as has a photo protective ability on epidermal keratinocytes (UVA and UVB protection).

Ascorbyl Glucoside – the same vitamin c form used in Vichy’s Bi White Double Reveal line. Very stable, non-irritating and able to penetrate into the lower layers of the skin to provide antioxidant benefits.

People who did not see positive results with the UNT EX White 2 may like this one better since it's gentler and has more active ingredients working to stop melanin formation.

Thanks for your recommendation this product sounds wonderful. I adore UNT products. How would you suggest we use this product - day or night? Layered with anything? Thank you

I love UNT products as well. Their vitamin c serum is my fav!

It can be used day or night. Underneath your sunscreen or alone at night, or layered underneath another botanical lightener or antioxidant. ;)

which one would you suggest to use to lighten skin say two shades (mine is almost eventone but doesn't match neck) Bioderma White Objective Night Serum or UNT Luminess...thanks your blog is really informative :D

Hi!

If you can get your hands on the Bioderma White Objective Night Serum that would be amazing since that's a great product but it has very limited stock nowadays and is a bit hard to find. The UNT Luminess is a close second and will probably help to even things out in your face.
